VIC Preschools & Kindergartens

I am currently on a mission to grow my very own indoor rainforest at home and make a habit of getting out in nature at childcare in pakenham least once a week. Yes, you will receive recommended homework and practice exercises to complete with your puppy outside of class time. This work you do at home is a vital part of reinforcing their learning and setting them up for lifelong success. We are also lucky to have 4 large outdoor play spaces, giving the children lots of room to run and explore.
Indoors, our purpose-built space encourages exploration and development with natural resources and abundant light. Most of our multicultural team has been with us for over five years, with one early childhood teacher serving for ten years. Our Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teachers who deliver a Government-approved Kindergarten program that prepares children for school. Children also enjoy extracurricular activities like music and yoga as part of their daily fee. Choosing the right early learning centre for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make as a parent. Inspire Early Learning Journey’s Pakenham child care centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can develop foundational skills, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Kindergarten is a two-year program designed for children between the ages of three and five. We use the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework to plan for children’s learning. Victoria’s Best Start, Best Life program means families can access free kinder at Cire.
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a government-funded support that helps families reduce the out-of-pocket cost of childcare. At Little Stars, we encourage families to apply through myGov before starting care. The amount you receive depends on your family income, activity level (work, study, or volunteering), and the type of care your child attends. Little Stars Early Learning & Kindergarten Pakenham provides high-quality education and care to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Our families love hearing about their  child’s progress and the experiences they’re having day to day. We share these moments through centre newsletters, our Xplor App, one-on-one meetings, and at various centre events.
We believe every child is a successful, competent, and capable learner. Educators provide opportunities for children to lead their own play through exploration and experimentation, while supporting them to take considered, age-appropriate risks. This approach helps children build confidence, collaborate, and communicate effectively with peers and adults. We create a sense of belonging for your child to ensure they feel heard and empowered to make choices, fostering their independence. We celebrate each child’s unique strengths, helping them to thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Children explore topics like bees, coding BE-BOTS, and recycling with local council support. Tailored teaching inspires critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong social connections, encouraging cooperation and curiosity through engaging, real-world learning experiences. Your child could also be eligible for up to 15 hours per week at no cost, thanks to the Victorian Government’s “Free Kinder” Program. Kindergarten is free for all three and four-year-old children living in Victoria. We offer this at our sessional kindergartens and early learning centres.
To help your puppy put their best paw forward, we currently offer two types of courses to cater to puppies of different ages and levels of training. Our centre is next door to Edenbrook Secondary College and John Henry Primary school where we also run an Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service. Through sustainable practices and early environmental education, we instill a conscious culture of caring for the environment from a young age. Pakenham sits just above the national NQS Rating & the average rating of centres is «Meeting NQS».
During this time, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of roles—including Educator, Kindergarten Teacher, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and now Centre Director. Each of these roles has shaped my professional journey and deepened my commitment to delivering high-quality care and education for all children. ECMS acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands on which we live, learn, work and play.
