The length of your recovery will depend on a number of factors, such as the severity of your carpal tunnel syndrome and your overall health. This surgery has a high success rate in reducing the painful symptoms of CTS and improving quality of life. Carpal tunnel syndrome can get better over time, and there are treatments available that can help alleviate your symptoms, such as wrist splints and steroid injections. However, if your carpal tunnel syndrome is particularly painful and impacting your day-to-day life, and you haven’t found an alternative treatment that works, surgery may be an option for you.
